Growth, people
& better ways
to work.

I’m Jonathan Ruvinov, a Brooklyn-based growth and operations professional. I’ve onboarded affiliates, managed partner relationships, and supported training and client operations. I also build practical AI-assisted tools to improve the work I do.

Seeking growth, partner operations, and people operations roles that value practical AI skills.

Growth + partner onboarding

Affiliate growth, with the follow-through.

I bootstrapped creator acquisition without a budget to hire creators, then supported affiliates through onboarding, content, and ongoing relationship management.

The challenge
Build a U.S. affiliate book without a budget to pay creators for more than six months, while helping partners participate consistently.
My contribution
Reached out to 1,200 creators, onboarded 40 affiliates, and managed 58 affiliate relationships. I helped with program expectations, resources, updates, and content, including ghostwritten trading posts.
Outcome
$42,000 in revenue and $50M in trading volume through affiliate portfolio management, with a 27.5% outreach response rate. The figures reflect the affiliate portfolio, rather than the CRM on its own.
Business development + client coordination

From the first conversation to delivery.

At FNDZ Labs, I led sales calls, helped shape tailored product packages, and coordinated with developers to support client delivery.

The work
Research the market, reach prospects, and explain how the product could meet their needs.
My contribution
Supervised prospect outreach, led sales calls, maintained client relationships, and developed client education materials and a marketing campaign for a subsidiary product launch.
Outcome
Built five partnerships that led to ongoing revenue for FNDZ Labs.
People + learning

Helping new analysts find their footing.

As Professional Development Director, I supported student analysts through onboarding, consulting training, workshops, and individual coaching.

Read the case study
The need
New analysts needed guidance on consulting skills, resumes, and professional development.
My contribution
Supported a cohort of approximately 50 student analysts, led monthly guidance meetings and workshops, held office hours, and screened and interviewed candidates. I also led four analysts supporting small businesses.
What carries forward
Experience explaining expectations, making resources useful, and helping people develop confidence. The setting was a student organization; I’m interested in bringing this onboarding and training experience into a workplace team.
Operations + client support

Operations where accuracy matters.

At Kroll, I worked on bankruptcy notices, claims reporting, and client support. It taught me to care about the details behind work that other people rely on.

Read the case study
The work
Legal proceedings required careful documentation, reporting, and communication at scale.
My contribution
Prepared legal notices and affidavits for FTX proceedings, weekly reports on approximately 20,000 Colorado Bankers Life Insurance claims, and notices for approximately 28,000 individuals in the Rite Aid proceedings. I also supported clients using the USDA technology portal.
What carries forward
Comfort with recurring reporting, documentation, and coordination. The figures describe the scale of the work; they are not claims about speed or error reduction.

Practical AI + growth operations

A CRM built around how I actually work.

I used generative AI to help build a dashboard that put creator account information and prepared outreach messages together, so I could work from one place.

Read the case study
The problem
Repeated outreach meant moving between account research, follower information, and message drafts.
What I built
An AI-assisted CRM using API-sourced account data, account and follower information, prepared cold messages, and message variations. I could find an account, copy a message, send it manually, and track contacts, responses, and outcomes.
What this shows
I can describe an operational problem, use AI to help build a usable tool, and adapt it to my workflow. Outreach remained manual; no time-saving metric was recorded.

Practical AI + workflow design

A job search tool shaped by real use.

I worked with an AI coding assistant to build and refine a personal job dashboard. I used it, noticed friction, and kept changing the workflow.

Read the case study
The problem
Too many similar listings, unclear compensation, and repeated jobs made it harder to decide what to apply for.
My contribution
Defined requirements for direct employer sourcing, broader compensation extraction, experience-aware scoring, company grouping, and separate Applied and Passed sections. I asked for faster actions and clearer queues as I used it.
What it demonstrates
I can turn an everyday problem into requirements, test the result in my own workflow, and give specific feedback. The dashboard is a personal project built with AI coding assistance. This case study focuses on workflow design and iteration; application records remain private.
Personal accountability plugin showing daily goals for taste practice, writing, original work, and job applications, with feeds locked until completion

Personal tool + behavior design

Create before you consume.

A self-accountability plugin I use to put my own work ahead of scrolling, with daily writing goals and practice to develop my taste.

Read the case study
The problem
I wanted a clearer boundary between consuming content and doing my own creative work.
My contribution
Built a personal workflow around a daily checklist: taste practice, sharpening writing hooks, finishing an original piece, and job applications. The interface shows progress and keeps social feeds locked until the goals are complete.
What it demonstrates
Turning a personal intention into a concrete workflow with clear next steps and visible progress. This is a personal tool; no measured productivity or writing-quality gains are claimed.

Actual interface · Historical screenshot, not live market data
Personal tool + market research

A clearer view of what’s moving.

A market scanner for keeping track of company fundamentals, stock-price performance, and the market conditions relevant to options premiums.

Read the case study
The problem
I wanted to compare what was performing and underperforming without reviewing each data point in isolation.
My contribution
Built a research dashboard that brings market indicators and a sector-relative market map into one view. The screenshot compares price rank with fundamentals rank, including revenue and earnings growth and operating-margin trends.
How I use it
As a starting point for further market research and monitoring, including the context around options pricing. The screenshot shows a historical session; it does not demonstrate trading returns, predictive accuracy, or validated investment recommendations.

A little context / 03

Relationships and operations.
A connected career direction.

My background spans crypto growth, restructuring administration, partnerships, and student professional development. Across those roles, I’ve spent a lot of time explaining things, keeping relationships moving, and making sure the next step is clear.

I’m looking to bring that experience into growth or people-focused operations. Partner onboarding, employee onboarding, training, and workflow improvement all interest me. I have direct experience with partners and student analysts, and I want to build on it in an employee setting.

AI is part of how I work.

I use AI to help write code and build tools for tasks I understand. That includes an outreach CRM, this job-search dashboard, and macros or batch scripts for recurring reporting.

My strength is identifying a process problem, defining what a tool needs to do, and iterating with AI assistance until it supports the task. I’m continuing to develop my technical skills through use.

Start with the actual task.
A tool should solve a problem someone has.

Make the next step clear.
Good onboarding and useful resources help people act independently.

Be honest about the result.
I separate measured outcomes from improvements I haven’t quantified yet.

Writing / 04

Different subjects.
A point of view.

I write about technology, culture, and the things I think deserve a closer look. Sometimes that means explaining how a product works. Sometimes it means questioning the assumptions around it.

Culture & criticism01

Death of the Renaissance Man

An opinion essay on taste, creativity, and conformity in tech culture. I question what happens when companies seek people with broad life experience but judge them through narrow expectations—and argue for investing in the artists who make culture possible.

In 2025, I traded my personal portfolio while traveling. That year included time in Denver, Berlin, Korea, and Thailand. The map below brings together places I’ve visited so far and a few I’d like to see next.

I wanted to see more of the world for myself. These photos are a few of the views and small details I brought back.
